As an ongoing recruitment effort, Trafalgar Birdhaven is in search of a dynamic candidate with a passion for the property industry to join our team as a Commercial Broker.

Purpose & objectives of the role:

The primary focus of the Commercial Broker is to grow the Commercial Portfolio and meeting the monthly targets.

We are looking for Commercial Property Brokers to join our team who specialize in Sales / Letting of Warehouses, offices and shops in all the key Commercial areas for our offices in Johannesburg. A dynamic candidate must be self-motivated.  Excellent communication skills, Honest and reliable with high standard of client ethic.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Ensure that TO LET boards are put up at all building where there is a vacancy
• Advertise on various platforms
• Circulate vacancies to all agents
• Attend to client with request for space
• Show premises to prospective tenant
• Assist prospective tenant with completing the offer to lease
• Ensure that credit checks are good and tenant is viable
• Ensure that all monies are paid on time
• Attend launches of new buildings
• Setting up appointments to meet with landlords regarding property they may have to let or manage.
• Scanning the papers or websites to search for business leads
• Cold calling franchises to offer them space you may have
• Cold calling landlord who may have space to let to offer our services.
• Advising prospective tenants regarding the going rates for rentals of various commercial properties in various areas
• Setting up appointments to meet with tenants and take them to view various properties
• Setting up appointments to meet with landlords regarding property they may have to let

Minimum Requirements:

• Completion of the PPRA NQF5
• FFC Certificate
• 4+ years experience as a Commercial Broker
• Own transport + License essential
• Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word & Excel)
