An exciting opportunity exists at one of our elite Estate in Pretoria for an Operations Manager. The successful candidate must be energetic, decisive and proactive and will be responsible for the appearance and upkeep of the estate’s common property and for managing the related subcontracted service providers. This includes statutory and estate-based rules governing all construction, upgrade and repairs activities whether initiated by residents or by the HOA.

 

Requirements:

Previous operations management experience essential

Available after hours for emergencies and to attend meetings (AGM, Board etc)

Computer Literacy essential – Microsoft Office (proficient in Excel)

Knowledge of statutory requirements, specifically related to the OHS Act and environmental governance

 

Job description

General control over the upkeep and maintenance of common areas on the Estate

Projects (e.g. road upgrades, gardens, storm water, etc)

Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and requirements

Assist estate manager with contractors compliance

Operational reporting – provide input into annual budgets (planned developments, projects, maintenance etc)
