The suburb of Nahoon is one of the most desirable addresses in East London, and it offers many upmarket homes and apartments to let along the Nahoon River or facing Nahoon Beach.

Nahoon is also home to the renowned Oxford Striders running club, a bowling club and the Jonginenge eco- adventure centre where you can learn to surf and do coastal hikes, snorkelling, rock and surf fishing and even learn about beach safety. Batting Bridge on the border of Nahoon and Beacon Bay is popular for its braai spots and a slipway for small boats, and for golfers there is the East London Golf Course in neighbouring Stirling.
